Protein Ice Cream – Mint Chocolate Chip!posted by Jennifer
Protein Ice Cream has come to be our guilt free sweet treat when we are craving ice cream. I usually have to make two batches it goes so fast! And the great thing about it, you can take the staple ingredients and change it to any flavor you want. But in honor of St. Patricks Day we have gone GREEN! Enjoy…guilt free protein ice cream!
2 Scoops of French Vanilla Protein ( We use Dymatize Elite Gourmet Protein)
2 Cups Unsweetened Almond Milk
¼ tsp Mint Extract
¼ Watkin’s Vanilla
6 Packets Truvia
Green Food Color(optional)
¼ Cup Sugar Free Mini Choco Chips
In a Blender, Combine all ingredients, EXEPT Chocolate chips.
Blend until Smooth.
Add ice cream mixture to ice cream maker(Cuisinart Frozen yogurt, ice cream, & sorbet maker is what I use.) Make sure your freezer bowl to your ice cream maker has been frozen for at least 12 hours! Otherwise it will not properly freeze the ice cream.

Freeze approximately 25 minutes.
Add chocolate chips and Freeze 5 more minutes. I rough chop the chips to make them go further.
Scoop and serve.
